Why did the writers of the Declaration of Independence include “the pursuit of happiness” as one of the three inalienable rights that all humans possess? Does it really matter if you’re happy or not?

We think vaguely that someday we’ll be different and better persons, but we never do anything concrete to bring about that change. Happiness is a skill that can be learned.

Description

Why did the writers of the Declaration of Independence include “the pursuit of happiness” as one of three inalienable rights that all humans possess? Does it really matter if you’re happy or not? This book takes the reader through subject areas that profoundly affect our emotions. The prime source for these insights is the Bible, with philosophers and psychologists chiming in. What could you do today, right now, this minute to improve your emotional life? Read this book and find out.  We think vaguely that someday we’ll be different and better persons, but we never do anything concrete to bring about that change. Happiness is a skill that can be learned.

Brilliantly written with the concepts shared in a captivating tone from the moment you read the first few words. So much wisdom encapsulated in anecdotes and real life application so that you realize you can choose intentional happiness too! It is so refreshing to read a book that touts truth you can see but gives you the typically elusive instructions. In a day and age of increasing mental illness with suicide on the rise, Intentional Happiness is like the magic pill we all need — except it’s too practical for magic, and for once, that is awesome. 🙂 Happy Reading!!
